As part of Dialogue on Disability, WXXI is proud to present two free screenings of Shooting Beauty at the Little Theatre.

Dialogue on Disability: The Herman & Margaret Schwartz Community Series, a partnership between WXXI and Al Sigl Community of Agencies, is a week-long outreach initiative designed to stimulate community dialogue about the perspectives and abilities of people with physical and intellectual disabilities.

Shooting Beauty Workshop at the Ivy Street School

119 For 4 days, Courtney worked with the students and staff at Ivy Street to help bring photography to their school community.  The Ivy Street School provides residential and educational treatment for adolescents with brain injuries and other neurological difficulties. Our 13 students were incredible to work with and they took some truly amazing pictures.  Come see the results of their work, Nov. 1, at the annual gala hosted by Ivy Street School.  Keep your eyes posted for more details!

Shooting Beauty part of 'Walk in Your Shoes' hosted by the Perry Service Learning Program

Perry High School in Perry, Ohio, will be hosting a screening of Shooting Beauty as part of a community forum called "Walk in Your Shoes".  Filmmaker, Courtney Bent, will by joining the audience via Skype to introduce the film and be part of a post film Q&A.  The screening is open to the public.  Thanks to Mark Soeder and all the students that helped to make this possible!96
