Come join us for a screening of Shooting Beauty, at the MFA, Boston. Courtney, George, Tony Knight (and possibly a few other subjects) will be there to introduce the film and for a Q&A. The screening is part of the REELABILITIES Boston Film Festival... click below for screening details....

Photographs from the Shooting Beauty Phillips Exeter Best Buddies photography workshop (that's a long one!) will be on display at the at the Frederick R Mayer Art Center (lower level, located along the outside walls of the Lamont Gallery) at Phillips Exeter Academy, Exeter, NH from Dec. 9- Dec. 31, 2011. Come meet the photographers, see the artwork, have some cookies and even see a screening of Shooting Beauty at the exhibit OPENING RECEPTION, Friday, Dec. 9, 6:30-8pm. Shooting Beauty will screen at 8pm in the Jan P. Mayer Auditorium located down the hall from the Lamont Gallery. This event is open to the public.
Photographs from the original Shooting Beauty Exhibit will be on display in Boston’s Logan Airport between terminals B&C during the entire month of October in honor of Disability Employment Awareness Month. Tony Knight and Courtney Bent will also be presenting the film to Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) employees and vendors on October 3.
The exhibit and film screening is sponsored by the Massport Office of Diversity.

Shooting Beauty screens at the 22nd Annual Best Buddies Leadership Conference. And the Shooting Beauty team is also proud to announce that Best Buddies is now an official partner of Shooting Beauty! We’ll keep you posted about our upcoming Shooting Beauty/ Best Buddies collaborative workshops in your local schools and universities.

Courtney heads off to Seven Hills Foundation in Worcester, MA to teach a one-week workshop to a new group of photographers! Cameras have already been adapted for 15 photographers- all done in one day. Oh, the beauty of switch adapted cameras! Courtney will also work with the staff to create an on-going photo club for the three MA Seven Hills sites.
Courtney visits University of Central Florida as part of a Teachers In Action special screening event of Shooting Beauty. Courtney will also be visiting the United Cerebral Palsy of Central Florida to hand out cameras and meet with from the college transition program.
